AN INTERDISCIPLINARY FIRM
  To know how to design one must first learn how to build, and build well.  During my work as an  Americorps for Austin Habitat for Humanity  I worked with a diverse population to build AFFORDABLE  housing in the ever growing Austin metro region. This work included everything from pouring concrete driveways, framing, exploring green materials to working with volunteer Landscape Architecture students at The University of Texas to help create a Zero-scape options.  During my tenure I led the  Prison Inmate Work Exchange Program  and worked to educate them on the craft of home building through a series builds.

AmeriCorps and work experiences with Austin This work included working with volunteer Landscape Architecture students at The University of Texas to help create a Zero-scape option, which would use draught tolerant planting and cedar chips to help reduce water consumption and control run off. She also worked with an inmate work exchange program and led them through a series builds to help them gain construction knowledge and community involvement.
